Daryl Sharp Ellis

Daryl Sharp Ellis, 80, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Daryl was born August 14, 1945 in Memphis, Tennessee, son of the late Ernest Ellis and the late Katherine Sharp Ellis. He was a Entrepreneur. He loved his grandchildren, friends, and neighbors.

He is survived by daughter, Katherine "Kappi" Widener (Justin) of Mount Pleasant, SC; two grandchildren, Ellis Widener and Weatherly Widener; nephews, Scott Ellis (Lori) of Tennessee, Kevin Ellis (Gracie) of Georgia, Sean Ellis (Suzie) of Georgia, Mark Davis (Melanie) of South Carolina; great nephews and nieces, Brooke Ellis, McKenzie Ellis, Ben Ellis, China Ellis, Liam Ellis, Christine Ellis and Michael Ellis (Vanessa); sisters-in-law Janet Gianni (Angelo) of South Carolina and Helen Ellis of Tennessee; and many loved other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Ellis, mother, Katherine Ellis, wife, Joan Ellis and 5 siblings.
