Zula Lee Wright

January 12, 1930 — February 27, 2015

Zula Lee Brunson Wright, 85, of Awendaw, South Carolina, departed this life on Friday, February 27, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Mount Olivet Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8469 Doar Road, Awendaw, SC at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of the service. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Zula was born on January 12, 1930 in Awendaw, South Carolina, daughter of the late Theodore Adolphus Brunson and Minnie Ellen Stevens Brunson. She was retired from the Charleston County School District and was a member of Mount Olivet Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Fulton Wright; her sons, Richard Wright and his wife, Judy, of North Charleston, SC, Fulton Wright of Awendaw, Howard Wright and his wife, Patricia, of Richmond, VA, Phillip Wright and his wife, Lisa, of Mount Pleasant, SC; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
