Zaria Emanuel Davis, Sr., 79, of Adams Run, South Carolina, husband of the late Elizabeth Jane Williams Davis died Wednesday, December 13, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of the service.

Zaria was born March 26, 1938 in Savannah, Georgia, son of the late Bartow Emanuel Davis and Essie Willie McClellan Davis. He served in the United States Navy and the United States Merchant Marines. He worked as a manager in the restaurant industry.

He is survived by a daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Davis and two sons, Zara Emanuel Davis, Jr. and Mario DeAne Davis, all of Adams Run, SC; sister, Indiar Davis Wilson of Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Lea Evelyn Darnell and Dakota Emanuel Davis; two great grandchildren, Harlan Cooper Darnell and Evelyn Kate Darnell. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two daughters, three sisters and two brothers.
