Zachary Robert Litchfield

Zachary Robert Litchfield, 29, of Ladson, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 21, 2018. A celebration of Zach's life will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1400 Manor Blvd., Charleston, SC 29414. The viewing will take place prior to the service from 12:00PM until 2:00PM. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414. The homegoing service will be officiated by Pastor John Pharis of City Church of Charleston. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr.

Zachary was born November 8, 1988 in Portland, Maine. He was a member of City Church of Charleston and was actively involved with Impact CofC campus ministries. Zach was a true example of what it means to be a Christian and loved God with his whole heart. True to his faith and friends, he brought joy and peace with him wherever he went. He graduated from Stratford High School and received his Associate degree in Marketing from Trident Technical College. He was an avid Boston sports fan who was most passionate about the Boston Bruins. A Christian metal and reggae music junkie, Zach was also a master X-Box gamer under the gamertag alright_meow88.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents Tom and Tricia Degifico of Ladson, SC; sister Holly Mellix (Nathan) of Fort Mill, SC; brother Michael Degifico of Denver, CO; grandmothers, Beth Kirk (Bob) of Madison, IN and Viola Degifico Vance of Scarborough, ME; nephews Isaiah Mellix and Aaron Mellix of Fort Mill, SC; many extended family members and innumerable friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to assist with final costs.
