Zachary Adger Lamble, 46, of Mount Pleasant, devoted husband of Letticia Ramlal Lamble, passed away unexpectedly Monday at his home.
He was born Sept. 23, 1978, in Mount Pleasant, a son of Robert A. Lamble III and Karen M. Lamble. He was a graduate of Wando High School, Trident Technical College, Orangeburg Technical College and the Medical University of South Carolina College of Health Professions.
Zachary was an MRI/X-ray technician at Roper St. Francis Hospital Mount Pleasant. Previously he worked at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, Va., and Southeastern Spine Institute for a number of years.
Zachary had a unique personality, and if you knew him, he was loving and caring and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Beneath the surface he was a gift waiting to be revealed. He was an excellent self-taught cook who reveled in preparing and sharing delicious dishes and trying and tasting new foods. He was a music lover and a naturally gifted musician as well. He cared deeply about his family and friends and loved his dog, Watts. He especially cherished the life and ways of old Mount Pleasant.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of Mount Pleasant and his mother of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., are his brother, Robert A. Lamble IV (Erika) of Mount Pleasant; sisters Merritt Petermann (Rick) and Shannon Powell, both of Fort Walton Beach; cousins Emily Robinson of Goose Creek and C.J. Ohlandt of North Charleston; and aunt, Nancy Lamble (Teresa Taylor) of Charleston. He also is survived by his friend and mother-in-law, Liz Ramlal of Trinidad.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life at the home.
Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel. A message may be sent to the family on our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com.
