Yvonne Hackett Oliver

Yvonne Hackett Oliver, 87, of Charleston, SC, wife of James McFaddin Oliver, Jr., entered into eternal rest Monday, July 7, 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at 2414 Rockland Ave. Wadmalaw Island, SC. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Yvonne was born December 10, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a daughter of Ned and Vivian Hackett. She was the founder of Treasure House Day Care Center. She was also a charter member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years of Wadmalaw Island; son, Davis M. Oliver (Dianne) of Johns Island; daughters, Barbara Ambrose (Pete) of Wadmalaw, Lynn Oliver (Ken Holland) of Folly Beach, Jaye Dane (Les) of Wadmalaw Island, and Becky Stallworth (Andy) of Johns Island; brother, Curtis Hackett; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
