Woodrow Wilson Davis

August 6, 1942 — July 4, 2016

Woodrow Wilson Davis, Jr., 73, of Ravenel, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 4, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday July 7, 2016 in Sauldam Baptist Church, 5945 County Line Road at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Sauldam Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in church one hour prior to service. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Woodrow was born August 6, 1942 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Woodrow Wilson Davis, Sr., and Lillian Winn Davis. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, and retired Civil Service Planner/Estimator with the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Wilson was an avid hunter and for many years was President of the Bradley Pasture Hunt Club in Ravenel.

He is survived by his son, Stephen "Dale" Davis of Clayton, GA; daughter, Melanie Y. Clark of West Chester, PA; two sisters, Pamela Gamache, and Debra Fender (James); two brothers, Donald Edward Davis, and Leroy Miles Davis all of Ravenel, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sauldam Baptist Church, 5945 County Line Road., Ravenel, SC 29470.
