Winifred DeCruz Fuseler

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of September 21, 2011, Winifred "Winnie" DeCruz Fuseler, widow of Henry W. Fuseler, Jr. Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 10:00 am in Church of the Nativity.  The Rite of Committal will be held in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.

Mrs. Fuseler was born July 8, 1919 in Singapore, the daughter of Joseph DeCruz and Marina Scheerder DeCruz. She worked with Daisy Bogin Dress Shop and was a former member of Centerville Garden Club, Charleston Does Elks Club, and the WYCA International Club.

She is survived by two sons: Henry W. Fuseler, III (Ellen) of Columbia, SC and Gary J. Fuseler of North Charleston, SC; one daughter: Cheryl M. Sigwald of Aiken, SC; one brother, Sydney DeCruz of England and one sister, Gloria Knott of Texas; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews in Australia, England, Singapore, and the US.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Church of the Nativity, 1061 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
