Wilson Lee "Butch" Moore Jr., 75, of Goose Creek, SC, husband of Sadie Emily Williams Moore died Wednesday, December 17, 2014. His funeral service will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 7:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The graveside service with military honors will be held in Williams Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, Hemingway, SC, Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 am.

Wilson was born March 18, 1939 in Port Arthur, TX, son of the late Wilson Lee Moore and the late Dorothy Winifred Golden Moore. He was an Air Force veteran and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a pipe fitter and test inspector. He also drove vehicles for Avis Car Rental.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Emily, son, Danny Moore (Jan) of Goose Creek, SC; daughter, Pamela Mason (Glenn) of Goose Creek, SC; four sisters, Dorothy Childs (Al), Beverly Christy (Lex), Mary Beth Griffin (Jerry) all of TX, and Elaine Watchel (Ron) of Bossier City, LA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael L. Moore.
