Wilson Hodge, Sr., 81, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Ann Huston Hodge died Monday, December 10, 2012 in a local hospital. The Memorial Service for Wilson Hodge, Sr. will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 in the Mount Olivet Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8514 Doar Road, Awendaw, SC at 11:00 am. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT LOCATION. Mr. Hodge was born February 27, 1931 in Macedonia, South Carolina, son of the late Henry Hodge and Estelle Caddell Hodge. He was a Retail Manager at both W. T. Grant and K-Mart. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife, Ann H. Hodge, seven sons, John Murray, Myron Hodge, Wilson Hodge, Jr., Shawn Hodge, Robert Hodge, David Huston and Thomas Huston; one daughter, Debra Slayton, two brothers, Robert (Sonny) Hodge, Rodney (Buck) Hodge, two sisters, Emma Jean Gaillard and Lynn Inman; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pearl Hodge and son, Henry Alan Hodge.
