Wilson A. Ham

Wilson A. Ham, Jr., 78, of Moncks Corner, SC, husband of Margaret Pessier Ham "Snookie", died Friday, September 28, 2018. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 4, 2018, in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 5, 2018, in the Christ Community Lutheran Church, 8315 Dorchester Road at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Riverview Memorial Park.

Wilson was born July 26, 1940, in Charleston, SC, son of the late Wilson Augustus Ham Sr. and Ruth Roberts Ham. He was a member of Christ Community Lutheran Church. Wilson was a graduate of Clemson University and held an MBA from The Citadel. He was retired from the Charleston Naval Weapons Station. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the United States Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Pessier Ham "Snookie"; two daughters: Tracey L. Riley (Vince) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Angela H. Newbold (Ron) of Hanahan, SC; son, Wilson A. Ham, III (Julie) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four grandchildren: Shawn Riley, Emily Newbold, Sullivan Ham, and Jack Ham; sister, Margaret H. Harken of Charleston, SC; sister-in-law, Valynda L. Ham of North Charleston, SC; cousins, nieces and nephews.
