Wilma Naomi Turner March

Wilma Naomi Turner March, 91, of North Charleston, SC, wife of Paul Thomas March, Jr. entered into eternal rest Friday, March 12, 2021. Her Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Wilma was born May 2, 1929 in Athens, AL, daughter of the late Buford Turner and the late Edith Naomi Bradford Turner. She graduated from Franklin County High School and retired as an Insurance Bookkeeper. She was a member of Holmes Avenue Baptist Church and the LAFRA Unit 269.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Paul March, of North Charleston, SC; son, David E. March, Charleston, SC; three daughters: Beverly Shaffer of North Charleston, SC, Brenda Hiers (Bill) of Ladson, SC and Gale Nathan (Nate) of Summerville, SC; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Malcolm Turner (Mary) of Tullahoma, TN and Richard Turner (Alice) of Belvedere, TN.

She was preceded in death by her son, Paul T. March, III., two sisters and four brothers.
