Wilma Day Lambert, 77, wife of Jimmie Dean Lambert of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012. The relatives and friends of Wilma Lambert are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL at 2:00 pm. Entombment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
Wilma was born on September 29, 1934 in Grayson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Allsy Day and E. Marie Decker Day. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her friends and family and was also a foster parent to many children.
She is survived by her husband of 61years, Jimmie D. Lambert of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three children, Susan Curtis of Matthews, NC, Kathryn Newton of Charlotte, NC, and Andrew Lambert of Mt. Pleasant, SC; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and sisters Helen Larsen, Anne Bynum, Norma Rish, and Rita Stewart.
