Interment will be held at a later date at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road, Mount Pleasant, SC.
Wilma was born November 14, 1935 in Topeka, Kansas to the late Charles Fenn and Verna Jackson Fenn.
Wilma was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She brought light and laughter to every gathering, and took great joy in time spent with her loved ones.
She was a woman of faith, honor, courage, and love. Everyone who knew Wilma knew she was deeply devoted to her Lord and Savior. She loved reading scripture, listening to hymns, and spending time with her Bible study.
She was endlessly in love with her husband Bob and the life they shared together, especially their time spent in the mountains of Asheville and Black Mountain, North Carolina. As Bob continued to suffer various health issues and near-death experiences, Wilma remained as committed as ever and relentlessly advocated for his care.
Wilma was a kind and generous soul, always looking for ways to help those in need around her, be it her family, friends, or complete strangers. She was also an animal lover and adored her cat, Puffy, and dogs Josh, Moses, and Jeremiah.
She never missed an opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Wilma always let you know what was on her mind, doing so with a smile. Her home was a place of togetherness, as she loved to host and have her loved ones near. May her legacy of kindness and love bring us comfort in her absence.
In addition to her parents and late husband Bob, she was preceded in death by her first husband William Rankin; her sisters Vivian Coletti (Benny), Lois Brunton (Donald), and Normagene Johnson; and her nephew Chuck Johnson. She is loved and missed dearly by surviving sons Marcus and David Rankin; sons by marriage Allen Boudet (Rita), Berto Boudet (Kim), Marcel Boudet (Debbi), and Michael Boudet; daughter by marriage Michelle Boudet-French (Brad); grandchildren Orion Rankin, Malique Rankin, and Sabrina Smith (Mike Cope); Adam Boudet (Karen), Kathleen Boudet (Rafael Diaz), Ashlyn Jordan, Sarah Maffetone (Cole), Caroline Boudet, Andrew Boudet, Brenden Boudet (Fay), Leia Boudet, Hudson Boudet (Kylah) nieces and nephews Paul and Donald Johnson of Kansas, and Dean Brunton, Carol Blackshear, and Jeanette Poerio of New Mexico; great grandchildren Sophia and Olivia Smith, and many beloved friends.
