Wilma Maxine Bliss, 92, of Meggett, South Carolina, widow of Harold Bliss, died Thursday, December 27, 2012. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Riverview Memorial Park at 1:00 pm. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday, December 28, 2012 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 until 6:30 pm.Wilma was born January 5, 1920 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late John H. Lewis and the late Cloa Bell Carsons Lewis. She was a homemaker and a former Sunday School teacher at Folly Beach Baptist Church for 25 years. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly B. Kruger (Kurt) of Meggett, SC; four grandsons, Bruce David Rose, Michael Howard, David Cary Baker (Rainey), and William B. Quakenbush; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Sue Rose and a son, Michael Timothy Bliss.
