Willis Banyon Ford, 67, of Hollywood, South Carolina, husband of Frances Karen Blair Ford entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 1, 2015. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow in Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC at 1:00 p.m. Willis was born July 26, 1948 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Robert Clifton Ford and Louise Drose Ford. He was a decorated Vietnam veteran with the United States Marine Corp and was a former BSA Scout Leader with Troop 14. Willis was employed for thirty two years with Linq Industrial and retired from Metal TradesHe is survived by his wife of 44 years Frances Karen Ford of Hollywood, SC, daughter, Michele Ford (Phillip) Goodale of Johns Island, SC, son, Willis B. (Alyssa) Ford, Jr., of Johns Island, SC, brother, Robert Clifton Ford, Jr. (Wanda) of Johns Island, SC; five grandchildren, Phillip Goodale, Jr., Triton Banyon Goodale, Kaylee Ford, Zack Zabel, and Katie Zabel.Memorials may be made to The USO Department WS, PO Box 96860, Washington, DC 20090-6860.
