Willie Lee Duren Willie Lee Duren, 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Henry Jackson Duren entered into eternal rest Friday, March 3, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 in Pinecrest Baptist Church, 1285 Ashley Hall Road, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Willie was born October 19, 1929 in Stearns, Kentucky, daughter of the late Matthew Ross and Georgia Cox Ross. She was a retired South Carolina State Fire Marshall Assistant. Willie was a member of Northbridge Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Watters Allen of Charleston, SC, two granddaughters, Ashley Heather Maxwell, Apsley Brooke Allen both of Charleston, SC; great-grandson, Jackson Dwight Maxwell; two step-grandchildren, Haley Desirae Maxwell, Jesse Newton Maxwell, III. She is predeceased by a son, Roger Allen Watters.

Memorials may be made to Northbridge Baptist Church, 1160 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. Charleston, SC 29407.
