CPO Willie Eugene Connor USN (Ret.), 85, of Charleston, SC, husband of Joyce Gibson Connor entered into eternal rest Sunday, January 12, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church, 2014 Bees Ferry Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Willie was born April 22, 1928 in Appling, GA, son of Shelly Connor and Pearl Perry Connor. He was a retired CPO in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Omar Shrine Temple, the Fleet Reserve, and Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Connor of Charleston, SC; two sons, Jerry Connor and Steve Connor, both of Charleston, SC; and two grandchildren, Austin Connor of Panama City Beach, FL, and Tallon Connor of Orange Beach, AL.
