William "Bill" Douglas Walker, 70, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, husband of Doris Suggs Walker passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013. A funeral service for Bill Walker will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 2:00 pm. Interment with military honors, Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Bill was born September 27, 1942 in Tuckerman, AR, son of the late William Douglas Walker Sr. and Alice Kennedy Walker. He was a graduate of Arkansas State University and a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Bill was a veteran of the US Navy and had a 42 year career in the automotive industry as a manager and consultant. He was also a member of the Seacoast Community Church.

Bill is survived by his wife, Doris Walker of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three daughters, Elizabeth Walker Hall (Ron) of Dallas, TX, Spring Walker of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Ashley Walker Jeffcoat (Jeff) of Fort Mill, SC. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Kennedy Walker.
