William Rhett Tucker

William Rhett Tucker, 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, of entered into eternal rest Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 am to in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Rhett was born October 11, 1945, in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Sigsbee Marion Tucker and Pearl Knight Tucker. He grew up on James Island, graduating from James Island High School, and later in life moved to Johns Island. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was an electrician, retiring from CNSY over 30 years of experience. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish, hunt and raising turkeys, ducks and chickens.

He is survived by his four brothers: Bruce Knight Tucker, Sigsbee Marion Tucker, Jr. "SM", Samuel Elmo Tucker "Spike", James Carl Tucker; sister, Fannie Tucker Quinn.

The family would like to thank VA Hospice, National Health Care Center and staff for taking such wonderful care of Rhett.
