William David "Coach" Spurlock, 69, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Susan Marie McCulloch Spurlock, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 27, 2022. His Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 am, in the Restoration Community Church, 6058 Miami Street, Hanahan, SC 29410. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. David was born September 1, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina, a son of the late Cecil Spurlock and the late Virginia Smith Spurlock. 

Along with his wife of 50 years, David is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Spurlock and her two sons, Cayman and Rhett Bagwell, and their dog Boots; his son, Zack Spurlock and his wife, Ashleigh, and their doggies, DeDe and Bunny; his brother-in-law, Rusty and Gloria McCulloch; his sister-in-law, Kim Spurlock and many beloved nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his brother, John Spurlock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Restoration Community Church, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Charleston or Berkeley County Athletic Departments.
