William Henry Schroder

William "Bill" Henry Schroder, Jr., 77, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Dorothy Blitch Schroder entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 7, 2018. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 5412 Highway 165, Hollywood, SC at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Christ-St. Paul's Parish Churchyard. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Bill was born February 27, 1941 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late William Henry Schroder and Ernestine Lilienthal Schroder. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran. Bill retired from Geer Drug Company after 30 years of service as the Data Processing Manager, following retirement he was employed for fifteen years with PHC.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Schroder of Charleston, SC; daughter, Melissa W. Weir (Thomas) of Johns Island, SC; son, William H. Schroder, III (Kelly) of Summerville, SC; brother, Manning Edward Schroder of Ladson, SC; sister, Linda Rickborn of Isle of Palms, SC; three grandchildren, Makenna Leigh Schroder, Jonathan Matthew Weir, Justin Thomas Weir, and one great-granddaughter, Trinity Grace Weir.
