William Mark Rust

William Mark Rust (Bill), beloved husband of 23 years to Laura Heiss Rust, Summerville, South Carolina, entered the heavenly embrace of Jesus Christ the evening of May 4, 2011. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Rust are invited to attend his memorial service at Cathedral of Praise 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011.

Bill was born in Freeport, New York, on January 18, 1960, to Dr. Wilbur C. Rust and Marian Jeppson Charm. A devout Christian and faithful reader of The Holy Bible, he was an active member of Cathedral of Praise. He was the Manager of Technical Services at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). He was also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and an Honorary Tar Heel.

Surviving are his wife, Laura Rust, Summerville; his parents, Dr. Wilbur Rust (wife Sue), Jacksonville, FL, and Marian Charm (husband Gerald), Mandarin, FL.; three sons, William Conner Rust, David Mark Rust, John Branton Rust, all of Summerville; a daughter Kathryn Laura Rust, Summerville; two sisters, Janet Margerison (husband Walter), Myakka City, FL, and Kathryn Biggs (husband Lin), Mandarin, FL; brother-in-law Grady Heiss (wife Patsy), and their children Joanna Michelle Krywko, and Robert William Heiss, St. Augustine, FL, and Ava Elizabeth Heiss, Wilmington, DE.
