William Michael "Mike" Ramsey

William Michael "Mike" Ramsey, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, went home to be with his Lord early Sunday morning on August 10, 2025. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel, located at 1494 Mathis Ferry Rd, at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends an hour before the service at 2:00 pm.

Born on December 29, 1941, in Gaffney, SC, Mike was the son of RV and Lucille Kirby Ramsey. He dedicated much of his life to serving as a Minister of Music, sharing his passion for music in various churches across South Carolina, including the First Baptist Church of Mount Pleasant. Later in life, he transitioned into a career within the engineering department at GE, where his capabilities and determination were evident.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Elaine Sherrill Ramsey; his daughters, Sherrie Cummins and Cindy Lee (Brian); granddaughter, Stephanie Harper (David); grandsons, William Cummins, Devon Lee, Brendon Lee; and great-grandson Michael Harper.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Michael J. Fox - Parkinson Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
