William Brent Oliver

William Brent Oliver, 90, of Charleston, SC, husband of June Smith Oliver, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 16, 2019. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 in Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church, 2014 Bees Ferry Road at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

William was born June 28, 1929 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Creighton Mitchell Oliver and the late Laura Winter Oliver. He was a retired foreman rigger at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He was a USMC veteran, an active member of the Marine Corps League, Group 803 and also volunteered at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, June S. Oliver of Charleston, SC; son, James Brent Oliver (Judy) of Summerville, SC; step daughter, Allene Holleman (Romie) of Little Rock, AK; step daughter, Theressa Roberts (Johnny) of Ehrhardt, SC; step son, Marcelus R Roberts, Jr. (Melissa) of James Island, SC; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly Joan Oliver and his brother Creighton Mitchell Oliver, Jr.
