William Oliver McGowan III, 78, of Summerville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 30, 2021. His funeral service will be held at the graveside Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc.
Bill was born August 22, 1943 in Charleston, South Carolina and pre-deceased by his parents William Oliver McGowan, Jr. and Anne Isgette McGowan and his daughter, Courtney Kristine McGowan. He was a salesman for Forms & Supply until his retirement.
Bill is survived by his sister, Carolyn McGowan Horton of Fort Mill SC; nephew J. Randall McInnis (Robin); niece, Julie Anne McInnis; step-daughter Jennifer Duke; great-nephews Will and Alex McInnis; great-nieces, Olivia McInnis and Krystal Musselman (Randy) and great-grandnephew, Geordan Musselman. Minister of services will be his cousin, Alfred G. Johnson.
