Entered into eternal rest the morning of August 8, 2010 CPO 1^st William Russell "Marty" Martin, USN (Ret) of Charleston, South Carolina.  A Memorial Service for Mr. Martin will be held at the Fleet Reserve Association Branch 50, 2815 Spruill Avenue, N. Charleston, SC 29405, Sunday afternoon, August 22, 2010 at four o'clock.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL.

Born September 7, 1938 in Lowell, MA, Mr. Martin was the son of Jesse Martin and Josephine Jodoin Martin.  He was a graduate of Keith Academy in Lowell, MA and retired from the US Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post #112 and the Fleet Reserve Branch # 50. Marty will be missed by his family and many friends.

Surviving Mr. Martin are four sons: William R. Martin, Jr. of Smoaks, SC, Patrick  Scott Martin of Charleston, Jeffrey Lee Martin of Syracuse, NY and Gene Riggs of Cross, SC and  a sister: Millie Martin of Lowell, MA.
