William "Don" Donald Hilton, Jr., 56, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Melanie Graves Hilton went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Monday, July 6, 2015. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church, 2014 Bees Ferry Road at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Christ-St. Paul's Cemetery,Yonges Island, SC. The family will receive friends Friday, July 10, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Don was born August 26, 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of William Donald Hilton, Sr., and Marceline Laroche Duncan Hilton. He graduated from Baptist College and received his MBA from Louisiana State University School of Banking. He enjoyed playing basketball and baseball while attending college. Don also enjoyed the outdoors boating, and deer hunting. He was a Vice President of First Federal of Charleston Bank, and also past president of the Charleston Lions Club, former member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church where he served as Elder and also Pierpont Baptist Church where he was head of Deacons and the Financial Committee.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Hilton, his two sons, William D."Trey" Hilton, III., and Matthew D. Hilton all of Charleston, SC; parents, William and Marceline Hilton of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Rebecca Mitchell (Steve) of Charleston, SC, and Lori Elizabeth Browne (Lee) of Yonges Island, SC, and one grandchild, Evelyn Rose Hilton and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
