William Jelfs Henning, Jr. of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 20, 2026. His funeral service will be held graveside on Monday March 30, 2026 at 1:00 pm in St. Philip’s Churchyard. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

William was born in Charleston on February 27, 1953. He was the son of Madge McCrady Henning and William Jelfs Henning and the brother of John McCrady Henning.

William worked for furniture refinishing companies in Atlanta and Philadelphia. In Charleston, he worked for a local landscaping company.

He is survived by several cousins.
