William Albert Hair

William Albert Hair, 65, of Goose Creek, SC, widower of Nancy Jane Freer Hair, died Monday, October 10, 2011.

Born November 15, 1945 in South Carolina he was the son of William Henry Hair and Ruth Lavette Mizell. Bill was a devoted Christian, loving husband, father and grandfather.

Bill is survived by his sons:  W. Robert Hair and husband Steven Ralston of Boston, MA, Jeffery A. Hair and his wife Karen Duncan of Asheville, NC and Peter T. Hair and his wife Marianne Hair of Summerville, SC; four grandchildren:  David William and Anna Rose Hair both of Summerville, SC and Kofi Benjamin and Aaron Gilbert Hair Ralston both of Boston, MA; brother, Kenny Hair and his wife LorRayne; half sister, Linda Blocker; step sisters:  Gloria Jean Blocker, Nancy Blocker, and Cindy Blocker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Nancy Hair; brother, Jimmy Hair, and half brother, Kirk Blocker.

The funeral service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM.  Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel Wednesday, October 12, 2011 between 4:00 and 8:00 PM.
