William Broughton Fitton

William Broughton Fitton, 61, of Hanahan, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 21, 2023. His graveside service will be held October 2, 2023, in the Beaufort National Cemetery at 1:00 pm.  Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

William was born October 2, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, son of the late Richard Charles Fitton and the late Billie Lucille Whitaker Fitton.  He was a Code Enforcement Officer for the County Government.  He enjoyed music, time at the shooting range and bowling.

He is survived by daughter, Jaime Rebecca Hiott and son-in-law, Glenn Ray Hiott, Jr. of Ladson, SC; sister, Lynell Whitehead (Daniel) of Goose Creek, SC; brother, Richard Phillip Fitton of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; two grandchildren, Damon William Fitton Cox and Kylie Belle Cox; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
