William Daugherty Farrior

William Daugherty Farrior, Jr., 95, of Ravenel, South Carolina, widower of Gladys Teachey Farrior, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, September 24, 2013. His graveside service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2013 in the Montlawn Memorial Park, 3128 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, NC at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

William was born September 24, 1918 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, son of William Daugherty Farrior and Josephine Giddens Farrior. He was a retired Toll Systems Supervisor with Southern Bell for 41 years and a member of The Bell Pioneers & Toastmasters. He was a United States Navy World War II veteran and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Raleigh, NC.

He is survived by his son, William D. "Bill" Farrior, III and wife Jeanie of Ravenel; three grandchildren: William D. "Billy" Farrior, IV and wife Caroline, John Thomas Farrior and wife Marsha, Christine F. Towne and husband Chuck; and seven great-grandchildren.
