William Priest Elledge, 88, of North Charleston, SC, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. His memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, at 3:00 p.m.

Bill was born February 16, 1926 in Baldwyn, Mississippi, son of the late James Troy Elledge and the late Nora Bell Priest Elledge. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired mariner in the Merchant Marine. Bill was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by four nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
