William Henry Easterby

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon July 4, 2011, William Henry Easterby. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his service Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 2:30 pm at the graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. 

Mr. Easterby was born December 7, 1938, the son of Hugh Easterby and Vergie Ginn Easterby.  He was a graduate of St. Andrew's High School, attended Wofford College, and a graduate of Palmer College with a degree in accounting. He served in the Army National Guard, was a lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Washington Light Infantry and the Footlight Players. Mr. Easterby retired as costume manager with Timberlake Studios in New York. He was a compassionate man of wit and humor.

He is survived by two brothers: Frank C. Easterby and John G. Easterby both of Charleston, SC; 12 nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his two brothers, Hugh Easterby, Jr. and Earl T. Easterby and his sister Mary Elizabeth Easterby.
