William Charles Comstock, 91, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Marjorie Lovell Comstock entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 27, 2012. His funeral service will be held, Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL at 1 pm . Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 pm to 7pm in Stuhr's Downtown Chapel .

Mr. Comstock was born September 27, 1921 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a son of Charles D. Comstock and Leviney Metta Wilder Comstock. He was a retired Regional Sales Manager for the Foxboro Company. A Graduate of Michigan State University. A member of the Masons, Scottish Rite, Omar Shrine Temple, ISA Society and the Charleston POW Association. He was a World War II veteran of the US Army where he served with the 82nd Airborne Division and participated in the Normandy invasion.

He is survived by his spouse of 67 years, Marjorie Lovell Comstock of Charleston, SC; daughter, Debbie J. Comstock of Astascadero, CA; son, MG James W. Comstock, USA (Ret.) and his wife Cheryl of San Diego, CA and son, Robert S. Comstock of Harvard, MA.
