RMCM William David Clark, USN, Ret., 91, of Charleston, SC, died Thursday, June 11, 2015. His funeral service will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends Sunday in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
William was born January 13, 1924 in Concord, NC, son of the late Clarence Wilson Clark and the late Ella Lee Williams Clark. He retired from the US Navy after 22 years of service and retired from Naval Electronics Systems Command. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve.
He is survived by his son, David Lee Clark of North Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Wilhelm Clark; brother, Robert E. Nash; and sister, Mary Alice Clark.
