William Robert "Bob" Carr

William Robert "Bob" Carr, 71, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Ruth Stough Carr passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Bob was born August 27, 1942, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, son of the late Alvis Bryan Carr and Esther Pate Carr. He was a retired Toyota Dealer and attended Hibben United Methodist Church. He was the Past President of the Augusta Red Cross and was a member of the Kiawanis Club. Bob also served as a Deacon and an Elder at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Augusta, GA.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Ruth Stough Carr; his son, William Robert Carr, Jr. of New York, NY; and his brother, Alvis Bryan Carr, Jr. and his wife, Betty Sue Hyde Carr of Fayetteville, NC. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon M. Carr, author of "Yet Life Was A Triumph."
