William F. Bridges, Jr., 80, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Lyn Clements Bridges, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 20, 2025. His memorial service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel at 2:00 pm, and the family will receive friends beginning one hour prior.

Bill was born October 12, 1945 in Greenwood, South Carolina, son of the late William F. Bridges, Sr. and Martha Ann Butler Bridges. The family moved to Linden, Indiana where he attended school and graduated from Linden High School in 1963. He enlisted in the US Navy and retired after 20 years in the Seabees. He was married to Lyn Clements on April 2, 1967.

In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by his daughter, Aliza Renee.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years; his daughter, Adrienne Nicole Bridges; grandson, Marcus A. Ouellette; granddaughter, Aimeé Elizabeth Ouellette; all of San Antonio, Texas; his brother, David Lee Bridges of Sedalia, MO; and sister, Carol Ann Carver of Bolivar, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Cokesbury United Methodist Church Men's Club at 4990 Dorchester Rd., North Charleston, SC 29418.
