William D. Brady Sr.

William D. Brady Sr., 100, of Charleston, SC, widower of Maude Crider Brady, died Monday, November 10, 2014. His funeral service will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, 2119 Dorchester Road at 1:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's North Area Chapel.

W. D. Brady was born April 6, 1914 in Jamison, SC, son of the late John William Brady and Eliza Smoak Brady. He was a retired Auto Body Technician. He was a member of the Dorchester Lodge #369, in North Charleston, SC. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by three daughters: Eleanor Brady Holmes of Pawley's Island, SC, Joyce Brady Haynes of Florence, SC and Patricia Brady Jenkins of Charleston, SC; three sons: William D. Brady, Jr. of Pawley's Island, SC, Billy B. Brady, Charleston Heights, SC and Jacky R. Brady of North Charleston, SC; seven granddaughters: Katrina Brady Jayne, Fayetteville, NC, Betty Hayes Humphrey, Florence, SC, Lori Ann Hayes, Florence SC, Linda Gaynelle Hayes, Florence SC, Jennifer Jenkins Cooper, Hollywood, SC, Tara Brady Jordan, North Charleston, SC and Kayla Brady Jennings, Columbia, SC; four grandsons: Steven W. Holmes, Jacksonville, FL, Mark K. Holmes, Wilmington, NC, Phillip A. Brady, Pawley's Island, SC and Ronald W. Jenkins, Jr., Charleston, SC; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson Jack Holmes.
