William Calvin Bradley

William Calvin Bradley, Jr. 58, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Patresa "Chena" Presnell Bradley entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 19, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 in First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 1293 Orange Grove Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell parkway, Charleston.

Calvin was born January 24, 1956 in Columbia, South Carolina, son of Nina Cantey Bradley and the late William Calvin Bradley, Sr. He was a 1974 graduate of James W. Robinson High School in Fairfax, VA and was a retired Chief Grain Inspector with the State of South Carolina. Calvin could always be seen with a smile on his face and tried his best to spread that joy to everyone around him. Whether it was offering food to his family and friends or saying hello to the neighbors walking by, there was always a welcoming and tender aura about him. He would spend hours watching his westerns which provided him with true bliss. He will be remembered for his twisted humor and good will.

He is survived by his wife, Patresa "Chena" Bradley of Charleston; mother, Nina Bradley of Palm Harbor, FL; daughter, Kaylen Brooke Bradley of Charleston; step-son, Russell Mazell (Lindsay) of Charleston, brother, Grady Bradley (Vicki) of Tampa, FL; sister, Amanda Gahan of Cary, NC; two grandchildren, Jackson and Cannon. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Patrick and Theresa Presnell of Charleston; brother and sisters-in-law; 12 nieces and 4 nephews. He will be missed by his canine companion, Woody.
