William Daniel Bishop

William Daniel Bishop, 75, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Judith Davis Bishop entered into eternal rest Tuesday, August 29, 2023. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Danny was born November 18, 1947, in Clinton, South Carolina, son of the late Leonard Bishop and Virginia Chaney Bishop. He proudly served the people of Clinton for over 50 years through his family business, Bishop Tires. 

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judi Bishop of Mt. Pleasant; children, Ryan Newton (Paige) and Jenny Barley, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two grandchildren, Davis Newton, and Salley Newton of Mt. Pleasant; and brother, David Bishop. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Bishop Armstrong, and sister, Libby Bishop.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close friends and family on the Isle of Palms, SC.  Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
