William Russell Beasley, 77, of Charleston, SC, widower of Patricia Davis Beasley entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 16, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel at 2:00 pm. Burial services will follow in Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

William was born May 3, 1936 in San Diego, California, son of the late Joseph Ocran Beasley and the late Martha Russell Beasley. He was a retired Postal Clerk for over 50 years with the United States Post Office. William was a member of the National Rifle Association and B.P.O.E. Elks Club.

He is survived by his three sons, William R. Beasley, Jr. of Brandon, MS; Mark J. Beasley of Charleston, SC, and Robert Scott Beasley (Adrienne) of Cedar Hill, TN; brother, Joseph Ocran Beasley of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
