William "Bill" Ellisor Ammons, Jr., 72, of Charleston, SC, husband of Karen Offutt Ammons entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 17, 2022. His memorial service will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 in the Cathedral of Praise, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road at 3:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

William was born February 8, 1950 in Lebanon, PA, son of the late William Ammons, Sr. and the late Betty Ellen Stalnecker Ammons. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired Supervisor at Bell South. He was a member of Cathedral of Praise.

He is survived by four sons: Christopher Farmer of Atlanta, GA, Matthew Farmer of Charleston, SC, Dr. Michael Ammons of Charleston, SC, David Ammons of North Charleston, SC; daughter, Audrey Fortna of Lebanon, PA; brother, Thomas Ammons of Spring Hill, FL; sister, Marilyn Chamness of New Port Richey, FL; and 15 grandchildren.
