William Boyd Altman

William Boyd Altman, 93, of Walterboro, SC, entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 3, 2021. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 S. Live Oak Dr., Moncks Corner, SC, 29465. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
Boyd was born December 10, 1927 in Brittons Neck, SC, son of the late Johnny McRoy Altman and the late Rachel Mae Altman. He was a member of Northwood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, William Larry Altman (Donna) of Moncks Corner, SC; two daughters, Margaret Carol Long (Kenny) of Moncks Corner, SC and Rachael Cynthia Altman of Lincolnville, SC; brother, Phil Altman of Conway, SC; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. His wife, Mary Margaret Altman, preceded him in death in 2015. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, T. M. Altman of Conway, SC and Johnny Marshall Altman of Hanahan, SC.
Memorials may be made to Veterans Victory House, 2461 Sidneys Road in Walterboro, SC 29488, or to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, 810 Maxwell Ave in Greenwood, SC 29646.
