Willard Ronald Bright

Col.Willard "Ron" Ronald Bright, U.S. Army (Ret)., 75, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Gladys De Paz Bright entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 15, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in Stuhr's Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial with military honors will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Beaufort National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.

Ron was born May 11, 1939 in Albertville, Alabama, son of the late Homer Bright and Juanita Justice Bright. He served 8 years with the National Guard and retired from the U.S. Army after 26 years of service as a Logistics Officer.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys De Paz Bright of North Charleston, SC; daughters; Cynthia Bright, Audrey Catherine Bright, Brigitte Bright, and Veronica Bright; four grandchildren; Ryan Gastley, Alexandra and Joseph Irwin, Britton Plott; brother, Frank Bright (Evelyn); two sisters, Jean Meyer (Jack), Judith Winkle, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
