Willa Snow Helmuth, 76, of Ladson, died Monday May 24, 2010, at her home after a long illness. Born December 22, 1933, in Hemingway, SC she was the daughter of Gillon D. Creel and Corine Peggy Tanner Creel. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters: Tracy Milligan and Samantha Deaton both of Ladson, SC, sons: Ed and Larry Harris; grandchildren Bernard Jr., Amindia, Ronald, Jamar and Kirsten; and three great-grandchildren: Kenzi, Mauri-anna, and Stryker; two brothers and one sister; her daughter, Janet, son, Jeffry (Bubba), three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, May 28, 2010, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC.
