Will R. Phillips, 79, of Charleston, SC, husband of Ann Hill Phillips, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 8, 2015. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 11, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private.

Will was born April 23, 1936 in New Bern, NC, son of the late Grover C. Phillips and the late Ruth Riggs Phillips. He was a retired chemical operator for MeadWestvaco and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Ann, of Charleston; two daughters, Carla Phillips Thomson of Charleston, SC, and Melinda Ann Phillips of New York, NY; sister, Mary P. Dixon of Raleigh, NC; and two grandchildren, Alyssa Katelynne Osmer (Christopher), and Matthew Phillip Thomson.
