Will "Willie" Lamar Clayton

Bishop Will "Willie" Lamar Clayton, 77, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Rose Edwards Clayton died Monday, June 8, 2015. His funeral service will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 in the World Harvest Community Church, 3441 West Montague Ave. at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 10:30 am. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 14, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in World Harvest Community Church and Monday, June 15, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Bishop Clayton was born February 2, 1938 in Alexandria, LA, son of the late Bill Clayton and Elmerine Taylor Clayton. He was licensed with the United Pentecostal Church International and Bishop of World Harvest Ministries.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Clayton; two sons, Thomas Lamar Clayton and his wife Terry all of North Charleston, SC and Timothy Paul Clayton of Columbia, SC; foster daughters: Dorothy Bridges (Tom), of Summerville, SC, Vickie Scott, Deborah Scott and Linda Scott of Moncks Corner, SC; grandchildren: T. J. (Victoria) Clayton, Jordan (Sarah) Clayton, Ashton Clayton, Ella Clayton, Dalton Clayton and Daniel (Courtney) Scott; great-grandsons, Walter Clayton and Max Clayton; brother, Richard Clayton of Alexandria, LA.
