Wilbert Gerald Stills, 74, of Johns Island, SC, died Sunday, July 27, 2014. His funeral service with military honors will be held at the gravesite Thursday, July 31, 2014 in the Carolina Memorial Park, 7113 Rivers Avenue at 9:30 am. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.
Wilbert was born August 2, 1939 in Charleston, SC, son of the late William Henry Stills and Mary Buck Truitt. He was a US Coast Guard veteran and former Aircraft Mechanic for Lockheed.
He is survived by his son, Gerald Thomas Stills of East Providence, RI; sister, Mary Evelyn (James) Barber of Buckhead, GA; five grandchildren; six nieces and nephews.
