Wesley A. Carroll, 66, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Merry A. Carroll, died Saturday, September 24, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 in the East Cooper Baptist Church, 361 Egypt Road at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Wes was born June 2, 1950 in Cortland, New York, son of the late Alvin and Betty Henry Carroll. He graduated from Tully Central High School and Albany College of Pharmacy, and spent his career working in hospital pharmacies in New York and South Carolina. Wes was a deacon at East Cooper Baptist Church, where he founded the men's bible study and participated in medical mission trips around the world. He faithfully sang in the choir with his wife. Wes's love of the Lord was evident in his love for others and care for those around him.

In addition to his wife, Merry, he is survived by his children, Joel David Carroll (Erica), and Lisa Carroll-Davis (David); two grandsons, Aidan and Owen Carroll; and his sister, Wanda Evanchick (Larry).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to help sponsor medical mission trips in Wes' memory. Make checks payable to East Cooper Baptist Church marked "Carroll Memorial."
